Vix Trend: Reversals and Opening Range

The Vix Trend is designed to help spot the both when the E-mini S&P 500 (ES) is trending, or overbought / oversold, but is unique in that it uses the S&P 500 Index (^SP500, not the futures market) and the CBOE Volatility Index (^VIX). Since the indicator uses ^SP500 and ^VIX, your data provider must provide (real-time) access to both markets (we suggest Kinetick). Since the Vix Trend uses ^SP500, it is best to use an RTH chart template when using the indicator. To load the suggested RTH chart template, right click on your chart -> click DataSeries -> under Session Template choose US Equities RTH -> click Apply. Read More……
